This is going to be a really boring first post. The kids are at their dad's for the rest of Christmas vacation. Its too late at night to work, and there is nothing on TV.
Well, there are reruns of "The Unit". I really really wish they hadn't canceled that show.
I met a friend for supper at a local burger joint. That was really nice. I haven't been out with friends in Years.
With the kids gone, I've been living on Marie Calendar's meals. I really really like the stuffed pasta medley. Add a little provolone cheese to the top and yum! The sauce is perfect. I wish they used the same sauce on the lasagna.
Tomorrow I work in the morning, then I have a meeting in the afternoon about a different job, Medical Billing. I'm hoping that works out. I really need to bring in more money. My ex-husband pays his child support, but it goes through the state's clearing house and they are SLOW! I have bills to pay and shoes to buy! So hopefully I'm able to start working my way into medical billing. I passed my course with honors, but I still have a LOT of questions.
The kids come home Saturday. Ex is bringing them home and then helping me pick up my new recliner. The last two broke. I wouldn't recommend Lane recliners to anyone! The first one broke the same day it was delivered. The second broke 3 months later. It was repaired and broke a month later. I contacted Lane customer service in August and explained what happened and that I had moved 3 hours away from where I bought it. It has taken until TODAY to get a new chair. If this one breaks, they are buying me a Lazy Boy!
Wow, I had a lot more to say than I thought, and I haven't even touched on Christmas. :) Another day.
